Clay Animation Workshop:
Clay animation is one of many forms of stop motion animation; specifically, it is the form where each animated piece, either character or background, is "deformable", i.e. a malleable substance, usually plasticine clay. Clay animation helps to make learning more fun. It encourages students to collaborate during a project. Clay animation also works on the basic principle of persistence of vision. Persistence of vision creates an illusion of movement, whereby you feel that the objects are moving.
Acting Workshop:
An animator is an actor with a pencil", goes the oldest and truest animation cliché.Acting and Animation go hand in hand. To be a good animator one needs to be a good actor. Different aspects of acting are covered during organized session times. Industry professionals are called to train students on acting.
Movie Sessions:
We have movie sessions where we show making of animated movies to students to teach them the art of animation. These movies are entertaining, informative as well as a morale booster. We have a vast collection of such movies. Students are encouraged to watch such movies and share their personal views/opinions about what they have learnt in the form of written or verbal presentation.
Communication Classes:
Good communication skills are extremely important for one to get a job in any company. Keeping this in mind we have tied up with the best English speaking classes to provide and train our students is Spoken English, as English is the universally accepted language in any company. These classes train the students for Interviews, Presentation as well as Aptitude Tests.
Besides the above mentioned activities we also conduct corporate seminars and training on the following topics:

Seminars:
We keep organizing seminars to impart knowledge to students, to keep up with the latest trends and to maintain cordial relations with various companies and studios. Study Excursion:
DASA annually takes their students for the events like ASIFA and TASI and many more. These are non-profit voluntary bodies that provide a platform for exchange of creative and technical information within the art and animation fraternity with a view to improving the Indian talent base. It encourages growth by educating and guiding prospective artists in India. This is done to expose students to the current trends in the industry. It also gives them an overview of the working style of various studios. We take students for this excursion as it boosts their morale and encourages them to work harder towards their goals.
Forums:
As a premier educational institute we are regular members of various animation meets and forums. For example CG Meet up, Nasscom Animation and Gaming conference and FICCI. This gives us an opportunity to gauge the growth and the business prospects of the Animation Industry. It is also an excellent platform for networking with people from the same field.
This forum is beneficial to the institute in many ways. It helps in brand strengthening as well as developing a good rapport with various studios and companies.
